What it is

Created by IoTone Japan, DeskWindow is a mirroring solution for the Snap Spectacles AR glasses. It’s the first OSS solution for remotely viewing your desktop (or a desktop-attached camera) in a spatial context on Spectacles.

Why

Most AR productivity stories assume you’ll re-author your tools. DeskWindow takes the inverse position: keep your existing tools and bring them into AR for free. The spatial context — multi-monitor, anchored, look-where-you-want — comes from the Spectacles, not from rewriting every app.
