IoTone, Inc. founded

IoTone, Inc. is founded in Silicon Valley.

The original thesis: a single platform — Unified Device Intelligence — that puts AI on cloud, desktop, mobile, and IoT, with privacy and developer time as first-order concerns. We called the platform BiotKit. For developers, it saves time and simplifies deployment. For device makers, it reduces time to market. For consumers, it means interacting with devices and the world more naturally — fewer swipes, clicks, and confirmation dialogs.

In 2014, those were ambitious words. A decade later, with Project MAG*Net, Polynode, offlinesns, and 40+ other public projects, the thesis is roughly intact — and a lot of the platforms have changed names.
